Talent Norway 10 years - artist conversation with Sophie

On October 8, 2025, Talent Norge celebrated 10 years since the government at the Ministry of Culture established the organization with Sparebankstiftelsen DNB and Cultiva as co-owners. This was done at the Norwegian Opera and Ballet in the Kirsten Flagstad room, where industry partners and supporters got to know Podium participant Sophie Kauer better!

Sophie is not only an outstanding cellist, but also made her acting debut in the critically acclaimed film TÁR (2022) alongside Cate Blanchett. The audience was able to see clips from the film where she, as the character Olga, performs a stunning version of the Elgar Cello Concerto, in addition to an honest conversation about her artistry. Parts of the cello concerto can be listened to on Spotify, as can Sophie's EP "Unsung" from 2023.
